The work then expresses the author's sincere reaction to the growing environmental damage. Apala uses thirty moving poems and related visuals to express her strong bond with nature, drawing inspiration from Benjamin Franklin's exhortation to take part in deeds worthy of being recorded. Through the beauty of her poems, she hopes to encourage a good change in people's interactions with their surroundings and increase awareness of environmental issues through the creation of this captivating book. Interesting BOTD.

Thank you for your informative review. Though poetry isn't a genre I really understand, so I don't care for, I could follow it enough to know it was discussing about nature. That is an admirable trait for the author. I'm glad that you enjoyed the book. I did like the pictures, though what it said about it, especially about the animals, did make me sad. I am an animal lover. I hope many others will enjoy reading this book.

"Harmony" was reviewed by Isaac Oh, who has more patience than I when it comes to poetry. He commented on the simplicity of the illustrations compared to the poems, but I disagree. I feel that the skill level of the poetry matches the art. Oh also commented on how the poems are organized. That isn't something I would have noticed, but I will keep in mind for the future, if I ever look at another book of poetry.

The book sounds quite interesting, because I have never before encountered such a concept as environment-based poetry, and I am very sad that my less than perfect English will prevent me from enjoying fully the rhymes and rhythms of artful wordplay. Still, I applaud the author's effort to raise awareness of serious issues and congratulate on BOTD!

Although, I'm not one for poetry, poems about nature sound like a great way to raise awareness for environmental concerns. I commend Harmony: The Saga of the Earth by Apala Banerjee for this endeavour.
