Poems are generally not my cup of tea but this collection sounds really good. There is a hidden meaning and a lesson to learn from every single word and every single line of these poems as far as I can judge from those few pieces presented in the review. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

The book seems well-written. I'm not a fan of poetry, mostly because I find it hard to decide the message the poet is trying to pass across. Thanks for the detailed review.

Today's BOTD is a collection of poems categorized into four sections spanning across space and time, all of which include the author's personal feelings, thoughts, and emotions on a variety of topics and issues relevant to our world today. I love that these reflections focus on positivity...sounds like we could all benefit from reading this. Thank you so much! :-)

I read the sample and all I can say is it's great. The photos attached in the book are amazing, it speaks to the topics presented well. The poems are simple but contains a meaningful message too. I am looking forward in reading this. Thanks for your review.

This sounds like quite a thought-provoking poetry book that covers racism through the years. I love that the author has chosen to write in a way that is simple but powerful, and poetry lovers will surely be immersed in the prose. Thanks for the detailed review.

The cover art of the book is creative and captivating. I also believe that the past can cause traumatic problems that could affect one’s future but I also believe that the past is supposed to teach us how to create a better future. Congratulations on BOTD

Congrats on BOTD. While the poems' topics are somewhat depressing, like slavery in past generations or racism, it seems there are also encouraging ones.

From early in my childhood i have always loved poetry. I even wrote a few decent ones when I was younger. This review really makes me want to read the book, and I love how it said so much, without giving anything away. I may just have to check this book out. Thanks for such an amazing in depth review!🌞🌝🌠

The author's message through these 45 poems seems to be relevant in today's society. I am interested to learn about the linkage between the slavery and our modern problems like COVID 19 effects.

The author creatively expresses her experiences of the past and present, as well as thoughts of her future, focusing on the positive aspects instead of the negative. I like the addition of colorful pictures to supplement the poems. I enjoyed reading a sample of the book, and the book review was well done.
