A collection of poems that speaks about the ups and downs of relationships sounds interesting. It’s great how the author tells a story through his poetry. I’m glad you enjoyed the poems here and that they were well-edited! I definitely agree - choosing the right spouse is very important. Thank you for your honest review!

I don't normally choose to read poetry mainly because I was made to read it, at school, at an age when it made little sense to me. Your review is amazing and if the poems are as goos as you say they are I may well be converted. Thank you :techie-reference:

Poems that tell stories can be interesting, especially if they are emotional as well. I like that this collection tells a complete story all together, from falling in love to losing love to the aftermath. Thanks for the helpful review.

Seems like an interesting collection of poems. It talks about love and losing love. These poems would indeed have a profound impact on those in love and those seeking love.

Great review and if I was a fan of poetry, I would definitely read it based upon your excellent summary and description of the themes presented in An Open Wound. Asian is not one of my favorite genres, I think that I will probably pass on reading it. But I do have it in case the urge strikes me to read poetry. Kudos to the author for BOTD honors.

Well, I guess romance-poetry fans would love this book. It sounds like a nice collection of poems. From the title and book's cover, I couldn't see that this book is about love. Thank you for an amazing review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting collection of poems. While the theme seems to center around love and the finding and losing of said love, there are some mature imagery in the poems that might not be adequate for younger readers. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm so glad you enjoyed the book so much. I did enjoy the first couple of poems in particular. I don't feel I understand poetry enough anymore to give it justice. It sounds like a great story for those that love this genre and understand it. I will pass on it though.

Poetry is such an amazing piece of art. While I am not the biggest fan of it, I love its creativity. Congratulations on book of the day!

Your review of this poetry collection is very informative. I am already in love with these poems, given the beautiful points you've highlighted in this review. I think I will also like that poem, "Loved." I highly recommend this book.

This book of poetry features stories about romance, relationships, and self-realization. In particular, it encompasses finding love, losing it, and the consequences of being separated from love. It seems ideal for fans of poetry and love stories.

"an open wound" by O Persaud. An interesting book, full of romance, relationships, and self-realization. It has lots of literary words. Finding love, losing love, and the aftermath of being apart from love is the journey this book will take you on. Congrats on your #BOTD.

These poems should appeal to every lover of poetry as well as those who love to read well written literary pieces. I like that this book is thoroughly edited. The poet's ideas are interesting. For example, his opinion on the nature of live is quite striking. I look forward to reading the whole book.
