Wow, it sounds like there are many layers and interpretations you can make from this poetry. I’m not really a poetry fan, but I might try a few and see.

Thanks for the review. You really outlined your thoughts on the book and showed how much you liked it but I would say it’s not a book for me.

Good review. I like poetry and to be able to read different poems and make different interpretations. I’m not a heavy poem reader but there are some that attract me more than others. I’ll add this to my list.

I appreciate you literary analysis of this collection of poems. You clearly have a strong understanding of poetry. I didn't like these poems much myself. I didn't find they had much depth.

This short collection of poems sounds intriguing, it also seems like there will be a lot to discover. Great review.

So many technical or should I say linguistic terms that I'm almost confused. Thanks for your review, it did a good job helping me understand the book

I understand your point about the poems becoming very sentimental or conveying contradictory feelings. I am glad that you enjoyed reading most of the poems though. Congrats to the author on the 3/4 rating.

I read the sample on Amazon and was instantly captured. You would think that free verse is easier to write than other, rhyming poetry but it really isn't. It takes a lot of skill to get just the tone you're seeking. From what I read, she seems to do this beautifully. I love how you delved into the details and possible meanings of the poems. Great review!

The theme on which the poems are based caught my attention, yet I will pass on this one because poems are not much appealing to me. But this one seems a good book and congratulations on being BOTD

Thanks for the detailed review of this book. I'm glad to read that you enjoyed it, despite the somewhat confusing aspects you found here and there throughout. I personally, do not find poetry a genre that I enjoy reading so I don' think that this book will be a good fit for me. I enjoy romance, but in moderated doses and this book sounds like it sways back and forth from being sweetly romantic, to just over the line of what I enjoy. I also don't think that I would enjoy delving deeper into the author's meanings behind the lines she writes. I'm sure that others will enjoy this book.

This sounds like an interesting collection of poems, probably coming from a place of vulnerable honesty of the author. I am personally not into poetry, so I will skip them.

Though, this seems like a great book but I don't like perusing poetic novels. Thanks for the excellent review.

As a lover of poetry, this collection has my interest. I feel I would enjoy delving deeper into the more heartfelt material. I'm not a fan of cloying sentiment, but I'm willing to give each piece its due. Great review.
