Thanks for sharing the book from your perspective, it's good to have an external point of view when it comes to poetry with a social focus, this is useful to know if it will really interest us, as well as the language we will find. You detailed very well what we can expect from each part of the book.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting collection of poems covering topics of "undesirable" issues such as AIDS, race discrimination, conflict diamonds and slavery. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Poetry is an excellent means of barring the soul. The poet has done that in this book, and the title speaks volumes. Your lovely review was insightful. I love poetry, and I know I will enjoy this book.

Well, I still can't make up my mind about reading this book even after reading the review. While I love poetry books, the nature of most poems looks a little depressing. But ultimately, I'm just thinking, poetry is poetry. So I'll probably check it out.

The #BOTD title is quite interesting. I like how there are four sections with basic themes. In a time where identity seems to be up in the air for a lot of people, this poetry is appropriately timed. Great review!

Between the poems on religion, racial aspects, and insects/animals, there seems to be a little bit of something for everyone.

All the poems narrated in this book convey some meaningful message relevant to the global citizens, and the style of narration seems enjoyable.

This sounds delightful. Poetry often is a succinct yet profound way to convey a message. Pulling a strong emotion out of a reader is a good sign of effective writing, especially in poetry. Thanks for an excellent review.

Poetry is a beautiful piece of literature that can convey an assortment of feelings in a shortened format. I appreciate this review because I'm attracted to these types of topics and discussions that are in this book. Congrats on being BOTD!
