This book of poetry sounds quite unique. I love that the author strings words together to create shapes and images. Thanks for the informative review.

Thank you for your thorough review. While some poems I like, I'm not interested in couple-poetry or sensual ones. I'm sure the calligrams are wonderful. I didn't know there was a name for that, but my teenage child did an amazing one for his school's Christmas program, so I'm sure it is a treat to all of the readers.

Interesting review. I have never read a book about how authors use pictures to tell a story. It sounds like a fascinating book.

Thank you, gabrielletiemi for your review. I'm glad you mention the simplicity of the composition, as this is the major turn-off for most uninterested in art; the idea that the work will not be understandable. I like art, but your warning on the subject matter and who you recommend will best enjoy this book are duly noted and will factor into whether or not I will be reading this. Thanks again!

Today's BOTD is a collection of poems creatively delivered through the use of calligrams. This means that the included images, artwork, and text are arranged in a way that visually represent the message or theme of each poem. Readers who enjoy art and poetry, as well as those who value creativity, are in for a treat! Thank you so much for the review! Great work!! :-)
