Great review of "Love is a Jigsaw Puzzle" by Penelope Chaisson. A book of poetry about love and all its glory and pitfalls. There are four sections and each has its own nićhe in the progress of love. The poems are straightforward, simple language and real. It is good to see this second book from this nurse, mom and poet! Please keep up the good work. Thank you.

“Love is a Jigsaw Puzzle” by Penelope Chaisson is a book of poetry about falling in and out of love. Chaisson is a very busy woman being a nurse, mother and athlete. She has written two books of poetry within a two-year period. This book has 100+ pages, is divided into four sections and includes 65 poems. She also included sketches throughout the book to make it easier for readers to understand the poems. The poems express Chaisson’s emotions about love and relationships. Readers who have been or are currently in love should relate to the emotions contained in these poems. While not explicitly stated the poems probably reflect the author’s own experiences. Falling in love makes people very vulnerable but the satisfaction from being in a loving relationship is well worth the risk of falling in love.
