"Readers who enjoy free-verse poetry and readers who like literary fiction, especially as told from a female perspective, should give this book a chance."

This is an awesome poetry book that follows the hardships encountered in the subjects life including forgiveness, redemption, addiction, and growth. The book is free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @chapin_lois on the BOTD selection.

A collection of poems narrating stages in their life seems an exciting concept for a book. Thanks for recommending this book!

The author of this book chose to write the story of an unnamed narrator's life in the form of poetry. In every poem, the life experiences of the narrator written, by the author, reflect the art of poetry.

This well-written review buttresses how the dynamic chronicles of life can be painted in a poetic accent. I really feel to give this book a chance, it sounds emotive in its tone and that's what I need forthwith. Nice review.

A motley collection of poetry covering over a hundred pages. However, at no point will a reader feel overwhelmed or as though they are wading through murky yet unchartered waters. Chapin is effortlessly able to pervade every poem with a resonant vitality. From my point of view, this is eased from the deeply personal font from which she draws her inspiration.

Sounds like fans of poetry will love, as long as they don’t mind the heavy issues. I’m not a fan of poetry though I appreciate your review. Thanks

I am not too impressed with the few pages I sampled, but after reading the review there seems to be more to this book and I think I will give it a second try.

Free verse is my favorite type of poetry. From reading the sample, I agree that the author was astoundingly successful in interweaving her fears, hopes, and difficulties with a lack of control into the overall story while easily maintaining the flow of the poetry. This book obviously is capable of having a profound impact on the reader. I look forward to reading it. Thanks for the insightful review!

This book not only deals with various subjects, but it does it in a way that evokes your emotions. And that is the power of poetry. Sounds like a great book!
