Wow! This was such an insightful review. It made me want to read the book, but I agree that the title might be misleading. Still, it looks like it's a great book.

Thank you for your review!! This sounds a good one to read. I really like reading because it feels like I'm the one who's in the story while reading it especially when there's really emotions in it.

The title "Adulting", I feel is appropriate and exactly what I expected. Adulting to me, is experiencing the very true realties that people go through, suffer through and then come out on the other side of, much better able to help others avoid similar traps or mistakes.

I enjoyed reading the summary of the book and applaud your honest opinion about the irrelevance of the title.
Congratulations on BOTD!

Wait, Kenyan- born? Exciting. The title sounds interesting, but I got a little disappointed when I read that the author's concept of adulting was different to the reviewers. How different can it get. I'm afraid I will pass on this one.

Thanks for a clear review, it's good to know what to expect, especially when emotionally difficult topics are addressed in the poetry.

The title seems to imply some sexual content but I wouldn't expect it to be so graphical. Thank you for the warning!

This is more like a talk of the making of an adult from a woman. It is quite analytical, and I think that readers will do well to pick the author's brain. It is a good read. And as for me, I love the fact that the author included identity. Resolving identity crisis is one big issue. It is always insidious if it is not properly addressed. Great review!

Like you, I saw the title and thought this book would have a light hearted approach. The serious nature makes me think that perhaps she was writing an autobiography in a unique way. Great review.

Thank you for your awesome review of this book! I was thinking the book would be on the humorous side because of the title. It still sounds interesting though and I look forward to reading it.

First impression: a self-help book with a neat cover. After reading the review: wow. It seems the author took adulting to a different level and I really liked that. I've seen "adulting" to mostly mean learning to iron clothes, do your own laundry, getting your first paycheck. But here the author offers a different definition. Thank you for the review.
