I liked the title of this book. It sums up perfectly the idea behind this work. Even though I needed time to get into the novel, in the end, poems were written very clearly. The author took the time and researched while writing these poems. This work challenged me to examine my knowledge of the Bible.

While the title is intriguing, this is not my kind of book. Congrats on being the BOTD though.

"My main critique of this work is the author’s claim that violence and hate crime steems from the Bible. “So, I believe that the hate comes from several parts of the Bible.” I can’t accept the author’s reasoning."
I'm with you on this one. This seems to be a bit of a controversial book. And, with statements like that, I think I'll pass this one.
Thank you for the honest review.

A book questioning the bible must be quite intriguing. I would like to try this one. Congratulations on being BOTD and thanks for the free giveaway

I don't think it's particularly useful, nor objective, to lay the blame for hate/discrimination (in this case, the LGBT community) against marginalised groups at the door of any religion/group of people. Still, thank you for the insightful review.

Great review. I agree with you about your critique about religion. I'm not sure this book is for me though. Thanks for your review.

When Humanity is progressing rapidly in some fields, in some fields we are a lot slower. It sounds like controversial book but the message it is trying to give is important. Nice review

I love books that challenge us to think out of the box. With a great title, this collection of poems seems to do just that. Although it has some raw vocabulary and striking images, it helps us reconsider some of the Bible precepts and stories and standard myths of human history and religion. Thanks for your review!

Though I have nothing against gays I do think this laws are supremely necessary. Although I like
to think outside of the box Bible principles are things I don't want to reconsider.

An interesting set of verses that question Bible scripture and the ancient myths is nicely presented in the non-fiction book "And Man Made God In His Image" by David C Done. The book showcases today’s views towards the religious law pertaining to violence against gays and juxtaposition of homosexuality. The book appears quite intriguing to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

This is an interesting philosophical non-fiction book that is wriitrn in verse and explores anger and violence, and inherrited tacit religious law. The book is temporarily free on Amazon kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.
