I enjoy reading poems and sometimes I try to give it a beat and sing it as well. So I will definitely be adding this to my bookshelf. I love the way you summarized this book without giving out too much detail, now it has pushed me to read the book, thanks for the review. Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

I usually hesitate to read poetry books but I loved the quote you used and I do enjoy poems that tell a story.

I like that this is more of a cohesive story than just a simple poetry collection with interconnected themes. I will check it out as it sounds like I would enjoy it.

I applaud you on the review. There is truly story-telling in these poems and that captures you from the first poem. I also enjoyed the author's version of the Bible's take on how women came to be. I also. support that the book is about love and the poems are love letters. The book is simply written and easy to comprehend. However, the presentation leaves room for improvement. I would recommend some art and colours to catch the reader at first sight.

This collection of poetry reiterates a very important fact — truly loving anyone or anything means learning something new every day about yourself and who or what you love.

I don't much care for books of poetry, so this isn't one that I'd cozy up to. But the author has a nice command of the language. I'm certain that lovers of this genre will find the book quite satisfying. Congrats to the poet on this achievement.

An Open Wound is that book, it takes you on this journey of metaphors, imagery, and figurative language, with stories about romance, relationships, and self-realization. Congratulations BOTD!

This book is a compendium of poems themed on finding love, losing love, and the aftermath of being apart from love. This is an amazing review that has certainly piqued my interest in reading the book.
