Love that a woman with so many demanding jobs that can accomplish writing two books in one year. Like how she broke it up in four wonderful sections and all the poems you will be able to read.

I love that this is a collection of poems about love. Romantics will have a swell time reading the poems in this book. I also like that the poems talk about both falling in and out of love.

The collection appears to address the many sides of experiencing love. It encompasses a spectrum of feelings, from the ordinary to the extraordinary. Immortalizing these memories and emotions in words in this book demonstrates that love is a unique experience with all of its complexity.

Penelope is what I would call a superwoman. I appreciate how she is able to explore and enhance every facet of her life, be it sports or books. She is certainly worth emulating. I can only wonder what inspiration lies between the lines of her poems.

Fantastic review! Bravo! I've downloaded my copy.

Today's BOTD is a collection of poetry that focuses on all aspects of love, broken down into four categories: Sweet, Sour, First Sight, and First Bite. Not only will these poems help women better understand their feelings, but also navigate our ever-changing, complicated world with honesty and grace. Thank you so much! :-)

Lovely review!
Her love for reading and writing started when her mother took her to the library, where she discovered the power of words to communicate emotions.
I can relate! I had a similar experience as a child and the influence it had on me has stuck and greatly evolved over time. Storytelling continues to be an all-powerful tool.
I would highly recommend this book to all adult women. It is a treasure trove of lessons that can help women going through challenging circumstances feel better, gain wisdom, and navigate the situation gracefully.
This perfectly summarizes the core of what I’m always trying to achieve in the vast, chaotic realm of “adulting.” Clearly, I have plenty to gain from reading this book!

Congrats to the author on BOTD!

Your review does an excellent job of engaging readers by providing just enough detail to spark interest without giving too much away. I also appreciate your comments on the simplicity and emotional depth of the poetry, as well as how the illustrations added meaningful context.
