I'm not a fan of poetry but I've read the review and the collection seems pretty interesting and educational as well giving us valuable lessons on such topics as nature, the environment, society, war and our fragile planet. I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I love poems that explore a variety of human emotions. I also like that you mention that the author has a way of making you feel as if you know them after reading the poems. It is unique that it comes from a Buddhist perspective. Great review!

It sounds like a truly beautiful book of poetry. I hesitate to pick it up, however, because I tend to really 'live' the books I read and can be very emotional. Thus, I try to avoid books that I know will make me cry. I think I'll pass on this one. Thanks for the wonderful review.
