A poetry book that makes you think and revolves around the author's personal experiences sounds great. That the poems are methodical, free verse, and relatable makes it a good read for fans of the genre. That the book was well-edited is another plus. Not for me, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

I loved reading the sample. These poems are written with passion and I felt every word. I loved the "Golden Window" as the author effortlessly uncovers how the grass is always greener on the other side. I like that the poems cover a wide array of life topics. Great review!

Even though the storylike poems sound interesting, I don't think I'm interested in these poems with themes of "nature, aging, the passage of time, love, and death" overall, so I'll give this one a pass.

The beautifully written review conveys the beauty in The Golden Window. I appreciated the description of the style and formatting of the poems to fit their mood.

I enjoy authors that use every available element to help tell their story. I also like that this author shows that poetry can be just as thoughtful as prose. Well done!

Today's BOTD is one I'm going to enjoy! I love visual effects in poetry because they enhance the overall experience for the reader, most of the time. I appreciate your wonderful review and thank you to the author/poet for opening up and sharing your personal journey with us. In addition to this collection of poems being enjoyable, readers may also learn a thing or two through your life experiences. I'm looking forward to reading more. :-)

Although I am not a regular reader of poetry, this collection of almost fifty poems takes the reader on a journey through their personal experiences and feelings and covers a series of related topics, such as: nature, aging, the passage of time, love and death. It is recommended to poetry lovers who enjoy poems with content and messages.

I do like poetry but only when it is done is a subtle, metaphysical way. From the sound of your review, I might enjoy at least half of what the poet has written, and the formatting tricks you mentioned sound interesting. Thank you for reviewing this poetry collection, I’m pleased you liked it.

This sounds like a beautiful collection. I love that the poet took time to craft and fine tune each one. The themes are more interesting than the usual love and beauty.
