The matter in the book is very interesting despite the title which is not useful as a man. Good review instead

Thank you for your thoughtful review. It is too bad that the author seems to have written the book from a standpoint that seems to vilify Christians and the Bible. This element may be off-putting to many readers. It's a plus that it is well-edited.

A book juxtaposing homosexuality and religious law seems to be radical.

Thank you for the great review.

Many people use religion as an excuse for their hateful behavior, which is one reason why I left the church when I turned 18. However, as you pointed out, most monotheistic religions harbor similar intolerant attitudes towards homosexuals. I imagine the author was writing what he knows from experience.
I appreciated your review. I think that you approached the book from an unbiased viewpoint, and it shows. Nicely done!

That's a very different and interesting book. And Man Made God In His Image by David C Done has touched some sensitive topics. Congratulations on #botd.

I am sorry to say, but putting Bible and LGBTQ, Christians and Jews practically in one sentence is a bit way progressive for me. I think I should give this book a pass, because poetry as well is not exactly my cup of tea. Congratulations anyway!

Your review presents the author's perspective on a controversial subject. I appreciate your explanation for lowering your score. I will pass on this one.

This book tries to dig into the issue surrounding hate against homosexuals through analyzing a religious belief. It’s good that the author’s position in the subject matter is against bigotry. However, I just wish the book isn’t resolved within the parameters of the Christian faith. I think it would be rather interesting to include other religions as well and explore what their teachings got to say about homosexuality. Great review!

I was attracted by the title, but like your review has clearly pointed out, Christians may not find some aspects nice so I'll gently pass.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I saw the cover and read the title. Christianity preaches against homosexuality but it also encourages loving our neighbours. The author's claim that only Christians persecute homosexuals is untrue. This reason and the warning to expect more offensive parts are the reasons I will not be reading this book.

I certainly want to read this book. I just wished it focused on other religion as well, and not just blamed everything to the bible.

Though this book sounds intriguing and well written, I’m not interested in a book of poetry. It sounds like the message is a strong one and I’m sure there are many readers that will want to pick this book up.

Thank you for the review. This is a very interesting piece of work. I am curious to see the author’s view on the topics you mentioned. I am not will versed in the Bible, but would enjoy this read as it addresses LGBTQ issues. Thank you and congratulations on BOTD!!

A book that uses poems to talk about the violence against gays. I don't think I'd enjoy this one. I am not a fan of poems. Congratulations on the BOTD. Thanks for the review.

Don’t you think that people who harm will do it anyway and find any justification for it?
I agree on you on this part. Also, the we are still struggling on having sensitivity and awareness about LGBTQ community. This is just adding fuel to the fire. This sounds interesting but disturbing. I think I'll skip this book.
