Poetry is not my area of interest but the way you describe this author's style of writing makes me want to read the book. Thanks for the review.

While poetry isn't really my thing, this book deely intrigues me. This seems like such a thought-provoking novel. I really like how it can say so much in so few words, showing the power of writing.

Any author that possesses the ability to share reflections (encompassing a whole life) through condensed poetry, deserves respectful applause. They say to "write what you know" and this author has clearly done just that. Thank you for providing this equally-poetic review and critique!

I think free-verse poetry is becoming popular by the day. It is nice that the author has written the poems pivoting on theme of her own life. I will definitely like to read this book.

Particular words arranged in a unique way that can create a vision in one's mind and a surge of emotions stong enough to conquer the universe. Poetry!

Paddle to Paddle sounds like an interesting book, but sadly the strong themes and poetry usage have made me make a decision to pass on it. Congrats to the author though on BOTD! :)

I've never really been interested in poetry but this has a certain appeal to it, so I'll check it out.

This book seems to be engaging as the author narrates her whole life story in form of poetry. Congratulations on BOTD.

Although I enjoy poetry, it seems like some of the topics covered in this collection are a bit heavy for me. I hope others find it moving though! Great review!

I tend to avoid poetry usually. I appreciate the author's ability to highlight strong themes such as abuse, adultery, and drug addiction in her collection of poems. Excellent review! Thank you!

Based on your review, the author seems to express her thoughts, pain, fears, joy, and sorrow in her poetry. It is too bad that the later poems are out of place. Changes in narrative sometimes lose the reader.
But
would never have guessed this book was about so many mature themes based on the title.

After reading the review I just felt like reading the book right away! Which I will the review really go t me intrigued. It perfectly summarised what we are going to deal with while reading. The book itself seems flawless and unique. With its distinct way of narrating the story is something we find very rare. I think this book is going to be a big hit with its raw emotions and the poetic way of writing.

I appreciate this must have been a difficult set of poems to read. With all those hard hitting themes and the changing of the poems forms. I'm not sure this would be something I would enjoy. Thanks for the clear review
