As someone who has identified as Christian, seeing that Old Testament wrath makes me shudder. Perhaps the right someone will pick up this book and have their eyes opened; hate will never be the correct answer.

I’m not really interested in this subject, but the review was very insightful.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting non-fiction book concerning the relationships between violence, hatred and religion. While it might not be for everyone, it might be worth a second look. Well done.

While I enjoy some poetry, the subject area this book focuses on is unsettling to me. I feel hate crimes are wrong regardless of how they arose or any association to any religion. I don’t believe that one religion is responsible for how the LGBTQ community is treated, it’s more of a conglomerate of belief systems. I strongly feel that love breeds love and hate breeds hate. The LBGTQ community needs more love, and I support them. I will be skipping this book due to my personal beliefs.

Writing a book of poems tackling the sensitive subjects of religion and homosexuality is a bold move. Kudos to the author, and thanks for the review.

It is bitterly anti-theist. As an atheist, I kind of find the tone too angry. But then again, I am bisexual and their "law" would command that I be executed for nothing other than loving another woman. We should be pointing out how arcane and barbaric that is.

Wow, a book that discusses LGBTQ issues in the form of poems. That's kind of rare, maybe I will give it a try.

I agree with the reviewer on this one. It is nit just christians that persecute homosexuality. Most, if not all, monothestic religion have a similar view on the subject.

I don't know where to start but I'll just say I need to read it to get a clear and better understanding. I want to know if it talks about LGBTQ issues only. Thanks for the review.

I guess for myself, I would have preferred to read the book blindly without knowing the topic. It is a sensitive subject and one that is dependent upon your own viewpoint and perspective. Thank you for the review, I enjoyed reading it and will take the time to read through this book for myself.

This is a rather controversial topic, so kudos to the author for tackling it. I do agree that the author's claim may be a little inaccurate though. Thanks for the insightful review!
