Thank you for the review. I found the concept intriguing, and the author's subtle approach to satire made the book an interesting read. I want to read this book.

The issues of homosexuality and religion are very sensitive. I may not agree with the author's perspective, but the book has been well structured to favor David's argument. Thank you for your review.

Thanks for the review, but as a devout Christian, there is NO. freakin'. way. I'm gonna read this blasphemous book, especially since it's so lopsided regarding Christians in particular, and uses poetry, which I dislike.

I don't like reading poetry. The idea behind this book is good. It will be a good read to poetry lovers. Congrats on BOTD!

A thought-provoking and critical poetry that tries to find answers for violence against gays from the Bible scripture and even questions the social norms.

Analyzing historical incidents and poems to understand homosexuality and the prevalent violence propagated against it would require harsh criticism and objective language. I understand the the singling out of just one religion would seem like specific targeting but I am still interesting in perusing through the perspectives provided by the author as he highlights the Bible and deals with sensitive issues with full conviction. Thanks for the great review.

This is an interesting, controversial take on how the Bible influences homophobia on the public. Overall, the book has a great message. Congratulations to the author!

In the 'Official Review: And Man Made God In His Image' by David C Done there is an equal emphasis on all the points related to the work of the author! The theme of juxtaposition of homosexuality and law has been presented clearly in the review! The critique of the book described by the reviewer is well deserved!

I think the message of the book is very important, especially with the topic it discusses. Unfortunately, I am really not the type for poems, no matter the subject.

The title of this book piqued my interest to know what it is about. The bible condemns homosexuality, that's true. And I won't use that to defend violence against anyone. But do people honestly believe that same-gender sex is a true order of nature?

I would have to challenge the author's views on only Christians persecuting homosexuality. Catholics, Islam, Muslims, and other religions also persecute homosexual people. The Bible doesn't promote violence in the New Testament but I understand how some believers pick and chose what they apply to life instead of reading the entirety of the scripture. I will definitely pass on this #BOTD. Great review!

This book of poems ties the law of the Bible with today's hatred of homosexuality. Congratulations to the author for writing this brave and controversial book chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent and honest review.

Even though I love to see books that discuss topics such as homosexuality, the warnings from this review are too revealing to ignore. I cannot stand with the argument that "hate comes from several parts of the Bible." I don't think this book is right for me, so I'm going to pass. Thank you for this insightful and revealing review.

This is a book that questions the writings in the Bible. It questions the violence towards homosexuality, and I agree that there is a lot of violence that needs to be talked about. This sounds like a knowledgeable book that brings you to analyze the Bible.
