You really mention the positive and negative part of this book very well. I'm not going to read this book because I don't read poetry that much. Thanks for the review.

I love poems, especially thoughts provocative ones. I have only sampled the book but already found likable things like different culture's exploration. Your review was also a booster so I think I might try the book.

After reading the review, I went and read the sample. Admittedly, I enjoyed the review more than the sample. I’m going to skip this one.

It sounds contradictory to me to write a set of poems about racial prejudice, war, and its resultant psychological aftereffects, and then turn around and discriminate against women. Thank you for your honest review.

I'm not an ardent fan of the poetry genre but Osaki's works sound intriguing. I could not tell you the difference between prose writing and verse writing in poetry but I might give this one a try. Kudos on the excellent review.

Your review is amazing. I am actually a big fan of poetry and I would love to read books which contain poems. I would love to learn new types of poetry as well, especially the prose poetry mentioned in the summary. Thank you

This review made me intrested in its subject matter. I never knew prose was a thing. Congrats to the author though on BOTD.

There is often lots of focus on the American unfounded during the Vietnam war but little in the aftermath, an interesting read.

A nice collection of 39 poems can be found in the book "Best Evidence" by Mark S. Osaki. The poems are based on themes like racial prejudice, war, and its resultant psychological aftereffects. I want to read this book.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I was already hesitant to review this book due to its heavy themes like racial prejudice and war. When I read the line mentioning the negative light on women, I knew this wasn't a book I'd enjoy. Thank you for the thorough and insightful review.

This collection of prose poems addresses thoughtful themes, such as the Asian-American experience and the resultant psychological trauma left on the Vietnamese people in America by the Vietnam War. It would be very positive if the author's future works do not include a negative representation of women. Despite that, it seems a great option for poetry lovers.

Going through so many books in a while, I haven't seen any book like this involving poetry. I've always been looking to know about Asian culture. I'm glad I met this book. I also loved the way you explained the book in your review, I enjoyed it. Well done

Thank you for the wonderful review! Even though I am not the one into any kind of poetry, I can definitely appreciate the themes in the book and the poet's talent to explore them through words.

It is true that most people became traumatized after the Vietnam War, and it is nice to have a work of poetry that shows the psychological pain that people passed through. Kudos to the author. Thank you for your honest review.
