Your review is very thorough and full of good information. This book doesn't appeal to me though so I will be passing on reading this book.

This sounds like a good collection of vivid and relatable poetry. I like that it portrays a myriad of emotions and experiences.

I don't usually gravitate to poetry, but I am quite intrigued by this type of contemporary poetry. Excellent review!

A great review there. I Like how you have outlined the most important aspect of the book and your dislikes about some of the authors' way of presenting it. It was well executed!

I am not really a poetry person, but this book seems different. Will consider reading it. Thanks for the amazing review.

This sounds a good one to read. But yes, the title is kinda misleading. The author sounds promising tho. Saw good reviews about her. I'm so glad this is free today. I'll definitely read this. Thanks

Adulting can be a real bummer sometimes, but it's certainly something we all have to experience, enjoy, and overcome. I do enjoy books of poetry and prose that are able to incorporate visual imagery to a believable degree, so I look forward to studying this one further!

After reading the sample, I agree that the title is somewhat misleading. There was a profound sense of loss of innocence that ran throughout the author's poetry; that was...the only word I can think of is "profound," and even that doesn't quite cover it. I loved reading your review; your writing style is smooth and flowing...almost like poetry.

Nice review. Poetry is not my favorite genre, although I like how the author uses the poems to tell the story of her life. Sounds very interesting.

I actually thought that this book will be generally about adulthood, regardless I find its content to be worthy to be read. Thanks for this review.

An insightful review, but I'm not a particular fan of poetry. This does sound like an interesting book nonetheless.

Perhaps the author's view of "adulting" is more of a commentary on what adulting truly should be, beyond the typical American millenial's ideas about growing up. Your description or the poetry and visual imagery make this book sound very interesting - I'd like to read it.

One could misquote this book for the younger folks but reading through this review, I beg to differ. Something caught my attention, the way tiny details are described in such a way that it makes the reader realize how much is going around us and just how much we miss in any given moment is quite phenomenal.
