This book talks about different salient things, and the author also shares her perspective of life. Racism is not a good thing, and I will love to read this book so as to know more about the author's perspective. Thanks for your honest review.

Though I don't enjoy poetry, I like how poems can seem philosophical at times and are a reflection of the writers deepest thoughts. This too is one of such beautifully thought out and written piece. It'd make a great read. Thanks for your review.

There is this thing about poetry that makes me love reading them, the way a short sentence can contain a whole lot deeper meaning. The poems in this book covers different topics, from political topics to spiritual topics. Good one from the author. Congratulations on being the book of the day! Nice review.

Thanks for a wonderful review. In my view the most likable aspect of poetry is its ability to arouse both thought and feeling at the same time. The fact that Sandra's book is written in light and smooth verse is an attraction to a wider audience, because even those who are not well versed will be able to read and enjoy it.

Although the number of poems I've read in my life can be calculated on just one hand, I won't mind adding this lovely unique poem to the hand. Thanks and great job on the review.

I love the construction of this compilation of poems, the themes evolving from negative to positive is encouraging. It's good to see that behind each section there are implicit messages, that everything has a meaning. I like the inclusion of images as well. Thank you for this review, I will definitely read this book.

My first impression of the book cover was that it looks like a fun ya novel. But after reading the OBC review, I realized that it's more interesting that. I would love to see the sample of this book.

The book by Sandra Leon Gonzalez is divided by four sections, like the tears of my ancestors and the mirror before us. The first section is about slavery poems of past generations and racism of morden times.
