A World Diverse III by David Edmond is the third in a series of volumes of #Poetry. It paints a picture of the current state of society and the negative impact of the development of technology into the world. It talks about #Community, #Diversity, #Society, and #Loss.

Thanks for the review.

I especially like the poems sensitizing people on the need to interact with each other as it used to be before, unlike the current preoccupation with phones and other technological devices. Thanks for the review.

I am not so much into poetry but this one sounds quite compelling. I agree with the author that we should all heed to the "call to reach across racial, religious and political lines that have been unjustly drawn." I won't mind reading this one.

The author pens insightful poems that dissect human interaction (or lack thereof) in today's world. He analyzes the impact of technology and the cumulative disadvantages of a fast-paced environment.

Thanks for your review! I like that the poet has taken the time to organise this collection well, so that the poems all fit together. However, like you, I don’t particularly like poems that are direct in tone and unambiguous, so I’ll pass on reading this one.

This sounds like a poetry collection I would enjoy, although I do prefer more word complexities than it appears to offer. That it explores the loss of human interactions due to the advent of technological advancements as well as the human emotions in the wake of lost loved ones is a plus. I look forward to learning from the author. Thanks for the sterling review.

I am always curious to know about different kinds of life-experiences of people around the world influenced by their culture, religion, etc. So I would like to give a try to this collection of easy-to-understand poems on such a theme. Thank you for the review!

A World Diverse 111 by David Edmond The book of poems encourages the reader to see life through the lens of the common-good as responsibilities are firmly grasped: from ambitions fulfilled to help proffered through grief and loss until utopia is gained at journey's end where peace rebuilt and respect in diversity is the order of the day. :eusa-think: Detailed review. Congrats on BOTD.

My relationship with poetry tends to swerve between loving it and hating it with a level of understanding that varies from piece to piece. However, I do like the challenge that even the simplest of poetry can pose, so I might give this a shot. Besides, I think the themes here are ones which should be explored by everyone, especially now. Thank you for the helpful review.
