Despite reading stories, I wasn’t a fan of reading poem since it’s very difficult to understand , but after reading this poem review I think I would love to read this poem.
Thanks for the review🙏

I am intrigued by MarisaRose's use of the words methodical and meticulous to describe this poetry collection, neither words of which I usually associate as a primary designation for poetry collections, at least not methodical. Given the themes of Brandt's writing and the reviewer's further comments, I look forward to diving in to these verbal and sometimes visual reflections on life.

Kelyn wrote: 25 May 2019, 22:39 I have also read this book, although I didn't realize it until I read the beginning of the first poem. I immediately smiled when I realized what book it was. You're absolutely right with the 4 out of 4. It is a beautifully written book of poetry. If I had to choose one word to describe it, it would be poignant. I greatly enjoyed reading your review of the book.
I am glad I wasn't the only one to begin reading only to realize later that what I was looking at was the book itself and not some kind of opener. :lol2:
I immediately went back to the BoTD post and read through the review and synopsis only to be all "ohhhhh. Okay, so that is what's going on.

Loved it. The poems are simple yet artful, full of beauty. Poems like Greener Grass and unwinding really capture the curiosity and essence of childhood quite skillfully.

Thats good that you enjoyed this collection as much as you did. I don't have as much time as i once did otherwise i would read as much poetry as my brain could handle. thanks for the reivew.

Very nice. The poems are beautiful and well written. I ignored his work until now. Thanks for the review.
Heart! We will forget him!
You an I, tonight!
You may forget the warmth he gave,
I will forget the light.

When you have done, pray tell me
That I my thoughts may dim;
Haste! lest while you're lagging.
I may remember him!
