I love gay people. I may not agree with their lifestyle, but I do love them. However, I have a problem with the author saying that the violence against gay people stems from the Bible. Most major religions don't accept the gay lifestyle. However, I would love to compete the book to have a full picture of what the author was saying.

The title of the book is interesting although I don't enjoy poetry as such also discussing hate, homosexuality and Christianity is a tough one because I believe God is love and the Bible shows His unending love for us and also tells us not to judge.Thank you for the amazing review.

And man made God in his image by David C. Done is an eye catching title which everyone would like to read. I was astonished when I saw the title of the book. I need to dig deep into this review to know what the book is all about.

And man made God... is an ironical statement which is contrary to God's ordinances and principles of creating man in his own image and likeness. Homosexuality is the god-like idle of man which is a reverse to the true nature of God.

The reviewer's review is quite fascinating. Good work.

It is a great step for the author to tackle such a controversial topic but I do find that our opinions don't match. Otherwise, great review.

Thank you for a fair and insightful review. I believe this is a book that I would not be interested in reading.

Hmmm I am not too sure what to make of it. The author seems a bit one-sided at best. I do believe that all religion runs with a more common theme than they hope to think, but all lessons, actions and beliefs are all quite similar across all practices. I can only assume the condemnation of one side can leave one a bit jarred by the text. Thank you for the well-written review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

Thank you for the review! I do want to be upfront about this- I do not agree with the author's viewpoint that only Christians do not agree with the LGBTQ lifestyle; this is not limited to one religion. As such, I will likely skip this one. :)

As you said, the cleverness of the title instantly got me interested in this book. However, I am very intrigued to know that a large part of the book is dedicated to LGBT+ issues.

I also loved what you said about reexamining your own knowledge about the bible. I think this is an incredibly important thing to do since so much of our communities history and culture is heavily based on religious texts.

I thought your review gave a very clear, honest depiction of your interpretation of the book, while still leaving enough mystery to get me interested in reading it myself. Good job!

I thought I would be forced to steer clear of the book, but now my interest to read it has been piqued. I also dispute with the author's claims that hatred arises from the scripture. Thanks for the review.
