While this is not my first choice, I'm sure that fans of poetry and prose will find this work enthralling. Thank you for the fabulous review, but I think I'll skip this one.

So true! The title led me to believe that it would be a self-help book, though I am glad that it isn't. A truly raw, authentic coming of age story describing the events of the author's life. Thank you for the lovely review! Happy reading :techie-studyinggray:

Great review and Great book. I don't quite agree with the name but I see this book as the examination of the author's personal life which was done in a stylishly way.

It's a shame that the title wasn't captured well in the poems. But, that's the thing about free verse poetry. It gives poets more room to play around with elements.

Seems like an emotional read. I loved how the author was able to use visual imagery to keep the audience engaged. The book sounds lovely. Great job on the review. Kudos.

This sounds like a book well done despite the title being misleading. Poetry is something that needs visual imagery greatly. This book seems to give that just as much. But this is not for me because of the graphic scenes in the book. Thanks for a great review.

Thank you for your review. I presume when Lindah Mogeni chose Adulting as a title, she was referring to something completely different. This thesis is upon her to enlighten. However, I think it's inclined by her struggle into adulthood.

Sounds like an interesting read. I usually don't read poetry, but I would like to read this one. From the review I got that the poems were heartfelt. The review was very clear.

Don't judge a book by its cover, they say, but it is not always possible. The cover attracted me, but the genre is different. I admire the writer for the contents though. Creating a scene and making it the focus in poetry takes some skill. Well done.

Thank you for sharing your review with us. I am not a fan of poetry in general, so I think it would be best for me to skip this one all together.
