I have only read a few pages. Too me, poems have a way of speaking. These poems make you feel like your inside the mind of the main chracter. It also has rhetrocial questions. The combination of this are deep poems. If you love poems, read this. If you do not like poems, still read it for these poems are different.?

I am a poetry fan for sure. My favorite are those that really reveal the life on an author. Your description of the book and the poems within definitely have persuaded me to give this one a try and see the way the author poetically describes her life. It's really nice to see a different type of book chosen for BOTD! I don't read much poetry, but I am looking forward to reading the poetry in this book since it seems to be written on such an emotional level. Sharing personal details and feelings with the reader is a very courageous act, especially since the poet is still pretty young. Thank you for your review, and congrats to Sabaine!

Great review. I had downloaded the book and as I saw the summary, I decided to read it during weekends. It seemed well written, though a bit on the heavy side with lots of sadness in it. I am going to read it this weekend. I hope it is really as good as the review said it is.
