'This book not only promotes a deeper appreciation for nature but also instills a genuine sense of value for the environment in its readers.'
Our environments are indeed crying out to us, and I appreciate people like Apala who hear and raise their voices in awareness.

This is book is a call to help to our deteriorating environment. It would be a beneficial one to anyone who comes across it. There are a lot of little things happening around us that we do not pay attention to, which might cause future damages. Great review.

I thought this to be an outstanding review. Not only did the few pages of the book that I read provoke me to want to take on some form of action to help protect Mother Earth, the review masterfully detailed the book and left me longing to read the rest of it. Great job!

I am always happy to see environmental issues addressed in new ways, to hopefully reach more people and create awareness. I am normally not so much into poetry, but do look forward to discovering these environmentally inspired poems.

A very informative review, clear points of view and detailed description of what is it about. Also how it's poetic, illustrative and expressive in terms of real environmental crisis.
After this review I feel eager to read it.

I like the idea of improving people's awareness of the environment and nature through poems, and not using the usual guides and books is an ingenious idea of the author. Its originality will definitely pique the interest of many, especially poetry fans. Unfortunately, I'm not a poetry fan, so I'll skip this one.

Thank you for your informative review of
Harmony: The Saga of the Earth by Apala Banerjee. I must admit that after I downloaded it because it is the BOTD and realized it was a book of poetry, I didn’t feel swayed to read more than the prologue and skim the titles of the poems. However, after reading your review, I can see how opening my mind to the author’s point of view could be beneficial.

I have young children at home, and these poems and the illustrations could be something we enjoy reading together. This book gives us the opportunity to discuss a topic we might otherwise overlook in our day-to-day routine.

This book is a collection of poems that enhances appreciation for nature, poetically raising awareness about environmental problems. The writing contains a very good description of all the beauty it seeks to express. Various extinct species are also mentioned, inviting reflection.
