The part where the influence of parents on children is portrayed struck me. This reality cannot be over-emphasized. I think from this review, this book is going to be informative. I am going to consider reading it. Good review

I haven't read a poetry book in a while and this couldn't come at a more opportune time. I'll definitely check out the author's extensive use of poetic license and how it has helped in delivering the subject of this book.

I must commend the effort you made writing this review. Indeed, The Residue of Our Desires is a mine of striking themes and insights. I especially love to read that the poem consists of the poet's personal life and social issues. I look forward to reading it.

I am not a huge fan of poetry, however the author's use of modern topics is appealing. I also like books that have introspective writing in them, so I am interested in looking at some of the poems in this #BOTD. Great review!

Great honest review. I have been writing poetry for as far back as I can remember. It's crazy, but my poems have to rhyme. There are different ways to express yourself through poems and it sounds like the author did just that. I love the part where we divide the world into two types of people: flies and bees. Bees love honey and, well, flies love trash.

I am not quite a fan of poetry though one thing that would attract me to this book would be the themes covered by the writer. They cover close to every realm of our society..from relationships, cruelty, religion (God)..etc

I’m not big on poems but I love them. Especially ones that aren’t too complicated and tell a story. I do not know if this tells stories or they are just there, but I’d like to try it.

Poems are logical writings speaking the expression of our minds, it acts like an actor that speaks our stories on few pages. I love the book

This book seems like a great read. Especially seeing that it talks about our contemporary world and personal issues. The author certainly did a great job in this book.

This book contains over 60 poems on a range of modern day topics such as relationships, god, capitalism, ego, etc. It is geared toward an introspective audience and is an awesome book for those new to poem books. Congrats on the BOTD!

Poetry books are educative and entertaining. This book is very broad with different poems and themes. I am also intrigued by the topics of 'parenting' and God'. I applaud the author for such a great work of art.
