I like that the writer possesses the extraordinary power of describing and triggering images before the eyes of readers, as in the poem "cold."

This sounds like a wonderful collection of poems. I like that, as is mentioned in your review, it seems to deal with familiar and novel subjects, with a mix of prosaic and rhyming lines. The subjects covered by the author also sound like they will make for an interesting read. This is definitely another great book to be added to my TBR list.
Thank you for the wonderful review.

It sounds like the author covered a majority of social issues using these poems. The title sounds very intriguing. I enjoyed reading your review of this book. I read only the first poem so far and i really like it

Although poetry is not something I will normally read, this collection has so much going on within that I'm tempted to check it out. The various themes captured in his poems are thought-provoking and will be interesting to read.

This sounds like a great collection of striking poems. I like the underlying theme of identity and I think I would enjoy the subject matter of a lot of these poems. Great, catchy title too. Thanks for a great review.

Even though it seems like the book is full of profanities, I admire the way the author can paint vivid picture with just a few words. This power will definitely make me want to read the whole book.

The book is perfectly narrated by the author. An amazing book I just loved the way how author describes the situation through a poetry. Perfect poetry with a spice of life. Must read. I just LEARNT something new and I'd definitely suggest this book to read.

I like that the author provides a definition for the title of his book. I think that most people have to struggle and scrape together the limited resources that they have in order to make it in this world. I also enjoyed that the author used profanity as a writing tool rather than just for dramatic effect. The sing song nature of some of his poems remind of old country songs and blues songs that depict the harsh realities of life.

I like that the author balances serious issues with humor. The book definitely hits on some heavy and controversial issues. Readers of the genre are sure to enjoy and appreciate this one. Great review, thanks!

i was attracted to this book by the title
sometimes we need a little break or a change of pace but not to singing slower sometimes faster
this book was a great change of pace from reading nonfiction and history. A little poetry was what i needed

I don’t understand poetry for the most part. I think that I might be interested in those dealing with the relationship between differing races.
