"And Man Made God In His Image" by David C Done - the subject is new to me, I did not realize that the bible included so much admonition of homosexuality. I thought the poetry approach was sublime in presenting the subject, very, very effective. A great point of view put in a unique way. Thanks for the review.

I do not like how the author critique the Bible. It's not only Christians who condemn homosexuals in the society but also those from other religious affiliations. I'll pass this one. Great review

This is an interesting nonfiction that critiques a lot of Western ideologies and viewpoints. I love how it is written in verse! Congrats on the book of the day. Great review.

I find it unusual to tackle Christians for the hate against gay people. People do hide behind their religion, but I think that also every person has its rights to have an opinion. I am aware of that, but it is not okay to go against people who don't share the same aspects. For example, I am a great Christian, but I would never let myself go against someone who is gay, and I don't like when any Christian do that. And also, there are much more monoteistic religions that have similar opinion like us. Not only Christians have this problem.

A book that questions the position of God's law and frowns against God's prohibition of gay relationships is absolutely not for me. Great symposia from the reviewer.

I am not one for most religious and Bible stuff, but I appreciate that the author is stepping up for LGBT rights. Lack of bigotry is always a great thing.

It could have been a great book if the author also had carried out research and presented the findings on how other religious groups treat gay people. The way it's presented makes it easy for anyone to brush it off as just a mere attack on Christian beliefs. Otherwise, it appears to be a good investigative attempt at narrowing down to the source of hatred against gay people.

This sounds like a unique book. It uses poetry to make its argument. It talks about violence against gays and how it stems from religious teachings. I don't agree and am not interested in reading this.

Having been raised Christian, I knew the Bible's stance against homosexuality, self-love, adultery, etc. In my case, the author is 'preaching to the choir,' so to speak. I understand where he's coming from. My thought after reading the sample? Is all this hate really coming from God or are the leaders and constituents of the religions more to blame? Wonderful review, thanks!
