Thanks for the very encouraging review.
An Open Wound by O Persaud is suggestive of unrequitted love or a broken heart. ''The Apple Orchard'' reminds us of paradise. Poetry sings out the author's deepest thoughts and emotions. Like love songs these poems takes us to an avalanche of emotions. This BOTD is a relaxing break from bloody mysteries and conflicts.

Thank you for your review, it was very informative, and it made me want to start reading the book now. I am not always a fan of poetry and books that is only poems, but this book seems very interesting with all the poems fitting together like a beautiful puzzle.

I am not a poetry fan. I always have trouble understanding the deep meaning. I believe this book will he appreciated by poetry lovers, but I am going to pass on this one!

This book is for the mature audience who are poem lovers. These poems follows a story and are for those who likes poems that makes you think. Great review.

An Open Wound by O Persaud sounds like a great real. One thing that gives me the urge to read this book is how the author used poetry as art to tell a story. This sounds so unique. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I have never learned to read poetry, unfortunately. I like that this book expresses all the feelings genuinely and the author is not afraid of showing vulnerability. A love story would not be real if it didn't also show vulnerability. I also liked your conclusion of how important it is to choose the right spouse.If you came to this conclusion by reading this book, then it cannot be bad at all. I believe I've reached the point where I can understand poetry. I find this review to be really enticing, and I have no doubt that this book will help me advance in this area. I appreciate your frank and wonderful assessment. I'm excited to read all of the poems.

When I read this book over three years ago, I noted heavy sexual content and a lot of swearing. I also found several errors. I am glad to know the author has cleared the errors. Perhaps he has also toned down the cursing. I don't mind reading the book again since the author so generously gave it away. I do recall having fun with it.

I am not a fan of reading poetry. I appreciate its representation and don’t mind a few here and there, but an entire book is not my idea of a good read. The review is amazing, so much so I will take time to look through this book.

I'm not a huge fan of poetry but I usually admire from afar. It because it baffles me how some people are exceptionally good at word play. However this book seems to tick a box talking about "love being a constant" and that's a fact

I like that the book has chronological parts of finding love, then losing it, and its aftermath. Just want to know who are the characters in the poem, are they named?
