I was initially skeptical about reading this book as I don’t usually read poetry but your review really piqued my interest. Wonderful review.

Thank you for your awesome and detailed review. As I was reading your review, I wanted to get my hands on this book as soon as possible because I love Greek Mythology, poetry, and classical age. This is the perfect book for me as I believe that it is similar to The Iliad, and I love The Iliad. Thank you again for your review.

This is really a deeply detailed and awesome review. Congratulations on the BOTD!!!! I am going to pass on this one . The mythology part mixed with the poetry unfortunately will not be of interest to me. But seeing how great the review is written , I am positive it will be a popular one for other readers.

I never used to be much interested in poetry (unless it was Shakespeare, I just love that guy), but my advisor back in college got me at least somewhat interested in it. But I do love Greek mythology, so this could very well be something I would love to read. I'll definitely have to check it out a little more.

As an amateur poetry fan, I'm always interested to expand my horizon to see the different types of poems available out there. It never crossed my mind to see a mix between poetry and classical age, so this was a nice surprise.

Great review! Your review has the right balance of analysing both the poems (the choice of words, the shape) and the content (Greek mythology).

A captivating and enthralling journey into the world of ancient Greece where mortal and immortals lived together. This collection of poems ebbs and flows in a captivating story of love and tragedy, music and magic, heroism and the ultimate price of love. Will Python's sting be the end to love at first sight for the hero or will he be willing to go to Hades for the woman who has captured his heart?

Bernard Kuckuck has done an amazing job of taking the lovers of greek mythology back to the scenes and characters they love. Scenes of love, war, tragedy and bravery are vividly captured in the poems. The title In the Land of Myth allows the reader to prepare themselves for an escape into a world of beautiful sunsets and amazing sunrises, majestic mountains and flower gardens, scary caves and mystical creatures.

The art of poetry in all its forms as presented by the author makes this book a must have for poetry lovers. Even more interesting is the way that every poem captures the storyline of the one before.

I rate this book 4 out of 4. This book is suitable for all audiences and allows the reader to use their imagination as they immerse themselves in the storyline. Great poetry is hard to come by these days particularly in the area of greek Mythology as new age verbatim has saturated the reading spaces. So for all the lovers of antiques and romance this is a must read. More than poems; this is storytelling at its best.
