Although I don't like to read poetry much, the book's message and overall philosophy is impressive. Great review.

I am not a good fan of poetry. But the description of this one is quite intriguing. I like romance stories. It'd be an interesting change to read it as a poem. Good review.

The enthusiastic description of this book fuels my interest. It's been a while since I read a poem, and since this one contains my favorite genre, romance, I'll try it out sometime. Great review.

I love reading poetry books, so this book is a must-read for me. I would love to know what an amazing poet O Persaud has for us informed. Congrats to him on the BOTD.

The book sounds interesting and the poems are frank and sincere fully depicting the author's emotions. I also like that the stories are connected through a common theme. But poems are not my cup of tea, still I'm syure the book will find its reader because this is the book about love. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Not really a fan of poetry, but I love playing with words like. So metaphor, imagery are important tools to use. Its quite surprising that this poem is about love when the front cover looks like crime stuffs. Thanks for the review though.

Normally I'd run away from poetry cause I barely know what they mean... but this book sounds like more than that. It sounds like a collection of stories I'd be able to pick something from. I might just read it.

Poetry never was and never will be my preferred choice in reading material. I don't even like it in my native language and I highly doubt I won't struggle much more reading it with my self-learned English. No offense, I need to skip this book, but anyway congrats with BOTD!

Poetry is not a genre I normally read, but your enthusiasm about the love story within this book has me very interested. Thank you for a compelling review!

I love your review and this book. The poems are so true to life and readers can identify with the stories within them. Not everyone likes poetry but it is an avenue to express oneself in so many ways, playing on words to your liking. Kudos to the author on a well-written book and making it to BOTD.

It's been a while since I've last read a great poetry book, and the title, An Open Wound, seems so poignant, reflecting what your review says the contents do. Congrats on making BOTD and thanks for a great review.

A book of poetry that tells a story sounds fabulous, especially because it is connected with an emotional theme. Congrats on Botd.

I don't read a lot of poetry, but I do like poems that tell a story. This book seems to be like a romance novel in lyrical form.

Wow....I should say, your review made me want to read the book and I couldn't stop myself but to literally start reading and I definitely agree that as a lover of poetry, it makes you think and go on multiple journeys. You used the perfect description when you said: "How O Persaud wrote these stories is well-structured and will have readers in their feelings on this emotional rollercoaster of a ride."

Thanks a million for the review, I really enjoyed reading the book myself :D
