This is such a personal piece that it seems like a window to the soul of the author. I love poetry and this is a piece I see myself enjoying. Great review!

Thank you for your thoughtful review. I find poetry a genre that is really difficult to do well, but when one does, it can be really beautiful. It seems like this author has succeeded. Your review left me wondering whether there was a clue of the author surviving his mental challenges...? Or is he still struggling?

Thanks for your comment, Kirsi. The author refers to his mental illness as "unresolved." However, I got the impression he receives treatment and obviously, finds writing therapeutic.

One can only imagine what it feels like to have issues related to mental illness. I commend the author for putting his thoughts down despite the imminent challenge. Thanks for the review.

Nothing can match one's pain when expressed in poetry. Hoping to learn a lot about author's life through his collection of poems. The review was wonderful!

the "...mind, the soul, the heart, the will, who has control?"

I love this line. I’m trying to bring more poetry into my reading. I may have to add this one to my pile. Thanks for your review.
We’re gonna need a bigger bookshelf.

This poem provides hope to the reader going some difficulty as in some way the writer makes it clear that one cannot always be in control of all things that happen in life..
