Wow - this book was amazing! I picked up the audio version and fell in love with the beautifully spoken and thoughtfully written poetry in this book. And to have Elizabeth Acevedo narrating it was wonderful. Here powerful delivery brought to life the themes of self-acceptance, rejection of religion, sexism, family, sexuality, guilt and shame. The Poet X was by far one of my top 10 reads of 2020.

What did you think about the book? Did you read the physical or listen to the audio?
