I understand if poetry isn't your thing. But thank you for stopping by to read my review and leave a comment.

I am starting to enjoy poetry more and more, and this collection seems to grasp the complexity of our times well. I also liked your observation about going deeper into the layered issues of racism, such as colorism and other ways races divide themselves. Thank you for a lovely review!

Politics and racism have certainly taken center stage throughout this tumultuous time of our global pandemic, and it sounds like this author’s collection of poetry meaningfully explored many of the societal upheavals we’ve all faced during such a trying time. Thank you for sharing such an honest and insightful review!

While I'm not a huge fan of poetry, I might enjoy seeing some illustrations in this book.

I haven't read many poetry books but this does sound pretty good. I very much like the book cover. I like how poetry can be interpreted in different ways. Glad you enjoyed the book, it was a marvelous review.
