I loved your descriptions of the poems. The mental image about giving the couple steak knives for their wedding made me chuckle. The author's ability to make us ponder "humdrum" activities helps us realize that every action has consequences. This looks like an amazing collection. Your review has me thinking about this book!

The book proves that everyone can write poetry. Maybe I'll write one about washing the dishes or doing the laundry 🤔.

Sounds a little complicated and all the editing issues are quite discouraging, frankly speaking :) But I loved your insightful review very much!

In that case, I might have done the author a disservice. It was a wonderful book, save for those petty errors that unfortunately added up.

One need not to be a fan of poetry but to be a fan of life. This line just captivated my heart. I would love to read such poems. Thanks for the amazing recommendation.
