One thing humanity can never forget is the significant impact of the COVID-19 outbreak. Be it the positive or the other way around, these effects spanned various fields, including education, politics, governance, people's existing lifestyle, and even their day-to-day activities. As much as the scars from this pandemic still surface, the nature of adaptation which humans have learnt has taught us ways to give life meaning, as well as cope, love, and ultimately move on.

Lori Schneider, MD, a neurologist in the United States, expresses her views and perceptions about life and its fundamental principles. Doing this in a more nuanced and vivid manner, she uses poetry as a medium that expresses experiences pre and post-pandemic.

In her book, A Brighter Tomorrow, she describes core values that include writing, life during the epidemic, nature, her pets, love, patriotism, and heroism, among other topics. She deeply expresses these through the diverse style and simple beauty of poetry. On an encompassing more, she also supports her work with the hope of walking into the light and embracing a fresh start. In this powerful book, readers would find comfort in the poet's words which would lead them on a journey into an immersive experience

I particularly admired the author's decision to express all of her thoughts and feelings through poetry rather than other forms of literature. This struck me as unique and interesting. Another element I found fascinating is her use of a simpler diction, which allowed me to relate to his work in a way that any layperson might comprehend.

In addition, the book was educational in a plethora of ways. The added graphic pictures were interesting and fun to look at, so much I found myself engrossed in the book till the end.

In light of all these, this book reignited my passion for art. Its art, in my opinion, is figurative and has a deeper significance. I found it also therapeutic.

I see no reason not to rate the book 4 out of 4 stars because of its excellence, beauty, and genre. Aside from the book's aesthetic essence, it's hard to find in it, any mistakes, which further grounded the professionalism of its editing. Lest I forget, another good aspect of the book that attracted me was its lack of sexual content and profanity.

As a result of all these, I would strongly recommend the book to poetry enthusiasts, as well as literary students, as it offers powerful and essential lessons, given in the form of poetry. It's also a must-read for those who enjoy a good book because it's jam-packed with great life lessons to enjoy and learn from.

One positive outcome of the pandemic is that some people took a step back, got away from TV and news media, and pursued self-reflection and self-expression through an art form. Schneider's book sounds very inspiring!

COVID-19 is really taking its toll in almost all aspects of our lives immensely and in such desperation, this book is a blessing. I love that the reviewer stated that the author, Lori Schneider, in the field of science, used literature, specifically poetry to reach out. For me, that is absolutely amazing and a Wow factor. Thank you for the review

That is a very insightful review but I am not sure if I would enjoy the use of poetry in this book - simply because I am not a fan of poetry. Anyways, thanks for the review!

The COVID pandemic completely transformed people and the way they look at things around them. Poetry is often an incredible way to keep people engaged. I look forward to reading this book.

Just reading your review made me fall in love with the book. The Covid 19 epidemic really changed people's life. I can attest to that fact. It even scattered the academic calendar. I also would like to read about the posms in this book as I am a lover of poetry. Thank you for this beautiful review.

COVID-19 is wreaking havoc in practically every element of our lives, and in such a desperate situation, this book is a godsend. I like how the critic mentioned that the author, Lori Schneider, used literature, mainly poetry, to reach out in the field of science. That truly is fascinating. Great review.

I wonder how many other pieces will surface in the next few years of people’s reflections during the pandemic. It definitely was a time to be still and write. It’s also interesting that the author did poetry, considering her credentials as an MD. It’s unique to see the creative side of someone who has a much more serious occupation.

I'm not a big fan of poetry, but after reading your review, I think it'd be a good read. Thank you for your intriguing review.
Books are a unique form of accessible magic. Reading is required for those who wish to rise above the mundane. If you dislike reading, it's most likely because you haven't found the right book.
