The book "A Brighter Tomorrow" by Lori Schneider, MD is a poetry book with beautiful illustrative artwork to complement each poem and the emotions felt around it. The artwork credits belong to Mark Salevitz, MD. This book was inspired by the amazing and selfless heroes who risked their lives during the 2020 pandemic, especially the health care and essential workers on the frontlines. This book, "A Brighter Tomorrow" has 41 different poems and is divided into 7 parts, with the finale sharing the same name as the book's title. The author found that poems create solace, soothing and comforting emotions, and plans to utilize these abilities.

The things I admired most about this book were the rhythm and structure in which it was written. Its descriptive nature and use of illustrative images give a broader picture of the poem's intent. The author expressed his newfound passion by describing his growth, challenges, ideas, and beliefs with poems and stories. Each part represents times in his life and exactly what he faced during those times. The book contains cited quotes from messages that relate to the topic of that particular part. The writing pattern remained consistent and organized. I particularly love the quote on love by Helen Keller that goes like this: The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart. And my best poem is "A Man's Worth," as it explains that a man's value is not in his lineage but in the purity of his heart. He tells some personal stories too, like the love story of his maternal grandparents.

I don't have any reason to give this book an unsuitable comment as I enjoyed every aspect of it. Each poem, with its different stories, had its own role to play. But I do suggest that the book be formatted properly as the majority of the text seemed smaller than it should have been, but that could be written off as an error that occurred due to the download format. This book was professionally edited as I found zero errors, both grammatical and spelling errors, in the entire book.

After much analysis, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. because my only issues are minor and not significant. I am finding it difficult to pick a specific audience for my recommendation because the different stories appeal to different audiences, but as a general recommendation, I suggest the book to readers with an interest in poetry and rhythms, love stories, and animal stories.
