Thank you for your wonderful review. I like the concept of poetry, but I rarely understand its meaning. This sounds like a great book for those who are interested in poetry such as yourself.

A book of poetry, "Looking Inwards" by Sameer Pendse, speaks of youth, mid-life and now as well as perhaps some afterlife and how those alive consider those lost to death. A spiritual outlook that is open and inclusive imbrues this poetry as it is easiest to evoke emotion through figurative language. This book is recommended to all readers as it is filled with poems that can touch the heart.
If you're going through hell, keep going.

This book sounds interesting; reading poetry may be like having a very personal experience with the author's emotions. If the author included personal experiences, the poem would resonate with the reader even more.
Additionally, readers who are not religious may want to give some thought to the spiritual material. Personally, I don't practice religion, but I think the book's accounts of spirituality are written with a deeper significance.

I enjoyed the sample of this book of poetry. It was insightful writing, emotional and touching. It is something I would read on a cloudy, dreary, rainy day to raise my spirits.

Unfortunately, the book is most definitely not my cup of tea, since not only it is poetry which I always had great trouble understanding, it is further complicated because of “social responsibility" subject to be considered an entertaining reading material. No offense, I prefer to skip it, but congrats with BOTD, anyway!

With statements like “When I came to America a decade ago", the book appears to have a different spin on poetry reflecting back on his experiences and documenting them, which sounds interesting to me.

I'd like to give the book a read though I'm not a fan of poetry.
