Have you ever read a poetry collection on romance, revelation, and clarity? Have you found connections with every aspect of life and twisted them into a revelation that answers life's questions? These are the exact questions CC Miller answered in Also Whole. This book is the second analogy of poetry Miller wrote, consisting of 117 pages of clear, powerful, well-written poetry.

I loved everything about this book. Miller featured so many poems in the book that hit home. It was challenging to pick a favorite, but if I had to choose, my favorite poem is kNOw (the spelling is significant to the poem). You could feel Miller's raw emotion throughout this short poem; it allowed her to be open unrestrictedly and courageous. These poems are why I love poetry; they give the author freedom to be themselves in a free environment. When reading each poem, it was easy to connect with Miller. She spoke freely with minimal words; that was sheer brilliance.

I did not find anything to dislike about the book. Miller's language and construction for each poem were brilliantly truthful. Mechanics-wise, I did not find a single grammatical error, so the book was exceptionally well-edited. I admired how Miller could express herself brutally without using profanity or sexual content. There were references to the Bible and God, but Miller wrote all the poems to suit all religions. For the above reasons, I cannot deduct any stars, and it's a huge honor to award Also Whole a perfect 5 out of 5 stars.

If you love poetry, romance, emotion, and drama, then Also Whole is your book. I see this book used for literary papers and school projects at the secondary and collegiate levels. The book is a thriving second anthology that belongs in libraries, secondary education classrooms, and personal bookshelves worldwide.

I'm picky when it comes to reading poems, but it seems that the author amazingly titled each poem in this book. The title "kNOw" sounds intriguing. I wonder why it was written like that. What an amazing piece of writing again, Meghan!

Hazel, your kind comment just made my day! Each title she titled hit me in the heart and she expressed herself brilliantly! kNOw is a contrast between the two words but I highly recommend reading the book to find out more :D

I feel like I can handle reading this book. The poems seemed easy to ponder, and I like them being titled. You deserved that compliment, Meghan. I would love to see more reviews from you!
