"The sorrow of war" by Bao Ninh

Hi guys,
I've just finished reading the book "The sorrow of war" and I must say, it was a heavy ride, heavy of feels and thought. It brought a whole new look on the Vietnam war and surprisingly that whole new look is brought by a Vietnamese author, which rarely happens.
Have you ever read this book? What do you guys think?
