As soon as I started reading Lisa McCarthy's Inspiring Book of Poems, Dreams, and Stories, I understood how deep-rooted the author's relationship with God is. From her words and experience, I could tell that she has always trusted and walked with God in every situation.

This book reflects the numerous situations the author has been through and how her walk and close relationship with God have guided her. Certain poems in this book encourage readers to trust and believe in God while hoping for a better future despite their current situation. Other parts of this book share the author's personal story, like that of her foster father, who loved her and took perfect care of her. Although most poems and pages were short, they were significant and had a strong message. She emphasizes the importance of the bible and how it leads us in the right direction. While some parts of the book were poems, others were stories and dreams; this helped to give the book more flavor.

One of the strong points of this book is that the author's words are easy to read and understand. Her words demonstrate her deep walk with God and how far God has brought her. One of the most outstanding things in this book is how she uniquely praises God; this is unique because she emphasizes the little things around us and how God takes care of us down to the hair on our heads. This shows how deep her walk with God is, and in a time like this, when no one cares about the things of God, these attributes are worth praise.

This book does not have a downside; I suggest that the poems should be written in a poem-like format to differentiate them from the other parts of the book. Aside from that, this work is excellently written and easy to understand. It is a call to order for Christians who do not have a personal relationship with God.

Despite the suggestion I mentioned above, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I am not deducting a star because it did not detract from my reading experience or impact the author's message. Everything about this book is beautiful; the messages are clear, precise, and easy to understand, hence the perfect rating. I recommend this book to Christians and everyone who would like to have a relationship with God.

This must be my first religious-themed poetry book. God has always been great to all of us, and the author putting that in words is so inspirational. Your review is great.

I like how the author’s strong relationship with God comes through in the poems and stories, showing how faith has guided her through different situations. The personal touch and emphasis on the little things that God provides is really special. I’m curious to read it and see how her messages might inspire my own faith journey.

Lisa McCarthy’s “Inspiring Book of Poems, Dreams, and Stories” offers a heartfelt glimpse into her profound relationship with God, presenting personal experiences and reflections that encourage readers to deepen their own faith. The blend of poetry, narratives, and dreams provides a unique and engaging approach to spiritual inspiration. While the suggestion to format poems distinctively could enhance readability, the overall message remains impactful and clear.
