A collection of 39 prose poems that talk about the Asian-American experience and war. I like how the poems are lyrical and how the author has a beautiful way with language. Nice review.

Sometimes I don't like poetry because of the use of condensed words, but I like those with simple language. I like that this poem looks at cultural differences and histories, this will help the reader get knowledge about Asian-American.

With my interest in poetry, this review piqued my interest. It would be a good book to learn not just poetry but more about Asian people and their struggles.

This seems like a collection of poems that would be both entertaining and enlightening. There is a lot to learn from this book on issues like the Vietnam war, Western culture, and Asian-American experience. I enjoyed reading your review.

This is an interesting review and a book I’ll definitely love to read. It will be a good thing to read about the author’s opinion about the war.

Poetry is one of the best outlets for emotions experiences. This author has captured and related his culture, family and personal experiences. I look forward to learning about all of these through his words. Congratulations on BOTD! Thank you for your review.

One thing I like about books like this is that they expose you to sensitive and weighty issues in a lightly manner. I am definitely reading this book, at least, to get his views on Western Culture, Asian-American lifestyle, and the effect of the Vietnam war.

As it as always been, poems are genuine ways for poets to pour out their emotions. And in this case, Osaki did not fail to make his emotions known regarding his experiences as Asian-American in America. The emotions here are raw and relatable. You can grab your copy.

This is a fine work of Literature. Many times, poetry is usually just poetry in verse or stanzas. This is quite different—poetry in continuous writing. I like that the book also exposes the Vietnam War (which I believe America has a share in the blame for there to have even been a war there in the first place).

Hey pal, you have proved to me that never judge a book by its cover. I had read a sample of these poems before getting to your review. The impression that I got from the sample was that this book is boring. However, all that changed when you shared the in-depth meaning of the poem and the book.

Never have I been so invested in a review. For a book that doesn't seem to be for the weak of heart, you gave a superb review. I don't like the bad things about women, but I'm really curious about how combat affects our minds. You highlighted Greatest Evidence to perfection. (I start to clap.)
