What did you think of this character?
One quote that struck me was the following: "But ever since this cabinet arrived, so many doors have opened that I've always managed to keep shut." (265)

Is she trying to control the entire situation? Is she the one who planned the entire thing? Is she just upset that things turned out so badly?
