The notion of a home

Several writers have defined, or attempted to define the idea of "home" and what, exactly, that means. In The Miniaturist, Nella asks Johannes, "Then where is home, Johannes?" Johannes replies that he doesn't know, but then he adds that home is "Where comfort is. And that is hard to find." (244) Do you think this is a good definition of a home? Can you think of any other writers who have defined home differently than this?
