Quiet, peaceful, a dead bird. Ah one sentence wonders.. I made that up. My sister used to own a white parrot that made the sound of a fire alarm with a dead battery...lol..true story...also said carbon monoxide...lol...I hated that bird!

Good one! It does tell a story in 6 words. Someone else's six words, but six words nonetheless!! Quotes can be good...

Thanks! I love working with super short stories like this, I find it helps writers of all experience levels realize how little is truly necessary to make a good story :)
I agree, this can make for such an entertaining writing exercise!
