Judgements

Post by Billy Bookmark »

From hurtful words
hold your tongue
Nothing is gained
by rumors sung
We all are aware
of the secrets men keep
but only God sees
the tears that they weep
He without sin
cast the first stone
For we will be judged
by the seeds we have sown
What's viewed on the surface
plays such a small part
How can we condem
without knowing the heart
The pointing of fingers
reflect our own fears
of not wanting to face
who we see in the mirror
Before passing judgements
search your own soul
We all make mistakes
only God makes us whole

This was quite the work of art. I'm not sure what to say because every part of it is well written and executed and it rings true to my heart. Wonderful piece.

The classical rhyme scheme makes this read a lot like a nursery rhyme.
