The Isolation of Love

The scent of your perfume
Seems to fade away
I'm drunk with desperation
And a broken heart
Grasping for anything familiar
Just to remind me of you
So i can lay on bed
Pretending that you're still here
How many time have I wet
My pillows with my own tears
I do not even know
The night is young and so was I
But it feels like I just lost
Ten years of my life
Curled up in this unmade bed
Taking all the time in the world
To heal without anyone knowing
Without anyone hearing
The cries of a wounded heart
High pitched and haunting
To the brink of death.
