The ones we have loved
Cherished and adored,
Are now gone across the Andiun fords.
They left us to tend to their grasses and ferns,
So we stand forlorn in the Forest of Fangorn.
Perhaps I was too slow, or she was too fast.
Whatever the cause, it's now in the past.
Though she is gone, my love for her dies not.
But, I now stand forlorn. All alone. By myself.
